2On 21st of November 2011 Federal Tax Service together with Ernst & Young and PwC will hold the Second International Tax Conference Thinking of Taxes in a New Way.
Recalling the positive feedback from participants of the International Tax Conference 2010, we can certainly indicate the importance and usefulness of such event for development of open dialogue between businesses and top tax policymakers and administrators.
The basic concept of the Conference is to bring together Russian and foreign senior tax administrators, leading representatives of the world economic science, business and international organisations for discussion of issues dealing with tax systems development.
During the Second International Tax Conference we are planning to discuss the following important questions:
- the role of taxation in promoting balanced and sustainable economic growth; taxes and investment climate in Russia; tax policy choices and tax reform trends;
- international tax enforcement; creating a business-friendly tax system environment; multinational cooperation in tax assessment and tax collection, international exchange of tax information; enforcement of transfer pricing controls; Convention between the Member States of the Council of Europe and the Member Countries of the OECD on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters;
